Meet the Team – Jemma Tapp, Hygienist/Therapist
Jemma is our Dental Hygienist/Therapist at Brixworth Dental Practice, Brixworth, Northampton. Jemma qualified from Kings College London in 2012 and is a Dental Therapist as well as Dental Hygienist this means she is qualified to undertake certain dental treatment such as fillings on children in addition to her skills as a dental hygienist.
Her passion for her work is infectious and she really embodies our aim; to help patients Smile for a Lifetime. Jemma’s ability to treat every patient as an individual, tailoring their treatment plan to provide individual care means she is a great hit with patients. As the testimonials below illustrate.
“Having never been to a hygienist before, I was slightly nervous but also intrigued by what to expect. My appointment with Jemma was really comprehensive, she took the time to explain in detail what she was going to do to my teeth, I felt in very safe hands which allayed my nerves. Jemma came across as passionate about oral health promotion, having never received preventative education before, she answered my questions enthusiastically and didn’t make me feel guilty for the things I hadn’t been doing properly over the years. I came away from the appointment with brilliantly clean teeth and armed with the knowledge on how to implement a more robust teeth cleaning and oral care routine. The appointment with Jemma exceeded my expectations, so much so that I have already recommended Brixworth Dental Practice to two family members.” Kirsty
“Thank you Jemma! You’re a star. So kind & professional. “ Michelle

We are proud that Jemma has been chosen as a finalist in the Hygienist of The Year Awards 2015 and again in 2016 something she thoroughly deserves for her dedication to her patients, the practice and the profession as a whole.
Jemma (formerly Jemma Clarke) is married to James and adores her family, travel and her pet dog.
