Discoloured, chipped or irregular shaped teeth
If you have discoloured, chipped or irregular shaped teeth, veneers can be used to re-create a lovely natural smile.
To prepare the area for veneers, the thickness of the tooth is reduced. Impressions are taken and sent to a laboratory. Temporary veneers are fitted to keep your smile intact. At a second visit, the temporary veneers are removed and the tooth surfaces are chemically treated. Once complete, the surface of the tooth is ready for the veneer(s) to be placed.
The benefits of veneers are that they are wafer thin but also very strong and resistant to stain. They can cover over areas of missing tooth, twisted teeth and to a degree discoloured teeth.
