Most people have seen kids wearing ‘train track’ braces, the row of metal squares joined together by wires and perhaps covered in multicoloured elastics.
Understandably, most adults would prefer something a little more discreet and this is where the Radiance System comes into its own.
Radiance squares (or ‘brackets’) are crystal clear, each being made out of pure sapphire. Furthermore, nowadays many of the wires used also come with a discreet white coating and the elastics are clear or tooth coloured too.
As a consequence of these modern breakthroughs in technology, the vast majority of adults find Radiance Braces very acceptable, allowing the dentist to carry out tooth movements in a similar speed and manner to conventional braces in children.
Treatment can take anywhere from one to three years, depending on the severity of the case and the degree of perfection required. There are very few conditions which cannot be treated.
