If you have discoloured, chipped or irregular shaped teeth, veneers can be used to re-create a lovely natural smile. Click here to read a Case Study.
To prepare the area for veneers, the thickness of the tooth is reduced. Impressions are taken and sent to a laboratory. Temporary veneers are fitted to keep your smile intact. At a second visit, the temporary veneers are removed and the tooth surfaces are chemically treated. Once complete, the surface of the tooth is ready for the veneer(s) to be placed.
If you have a problem with the appearance with your teeth, a less costly way of correcting the situation may be to bond the teeth with white filling. This may take away the need for veneers or crowns or it can be used as a (short or long term) ‘test drive’ if you did have veneers/crowns fitted. Many of our clients have used this technique and are extremely happy with the results.
